Today, dozens of information and geo-information systems have been implemented in the agricultural sector, which, in addition to ensuring the quality, speed and convenience of the services provided, as well as the formation of accurate and open statistical data in the field, food safety forecasting expanding its capabilities.

Another important digitization project under the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture is the “Agroplatform” information system.

Through the introduction of this information system, it is possible to maintain information on all agrotechnical activities carried out in the chain from planting to harvesting, and to abandon the exchange of paper documents using an electronic system. is being put into .

In this case, the created system will be used for convenient allocation of preferential loans for agricultural producers, risk insurance, electronic execution of contracts, equipment leasing, and transparency of financing processes will be increased.

“Agroplatforma” information system integrated with databases and information systems of commercial banks and companies, cadastre, tax and justice authorities, is currently undergoing initial testing in Andijan, Namangan and Fergana provinces.

Organized educational and practical trainings, as well as state agencies that perform their tasks in the “Agroplatforma” information system, are being demonstrated to farmers who receive services directly through the system and its possibilities and conveniences.

During the trial period, 1,830 farmers were registered in the system with the help of digital signature keys, the actual area and land information of the 50,607 hectares of land they use, the placement of cotton and grain crops, and the future harvest were clarified using the system. processes of electronic registration of futures contracts are being considered.

In the future, the practice of electronic signing of contracts on the supply of material resources is planned in the system.

At the same time, with the introduction of the “Agroplatforma” information system, the relevant normative legal documents are being improved.

The full launch of the system is planned for August this year.
