A meeting was held between officials of South Korea and the Ministry of Agriculture.

A face-to-face meeting took place in Tashkent between representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and the South Korean agency KOTRA. At the meeting, unmanned aerial vehicles of leading Korean enterprises interested in establishing cooperation with Uzbekistan were presented.

From Uzbekistan, the meeting was attended by the head of the department for the development of geoinformation technologies of the Ministry, Izzatilla Ikromov, the head of the department for collecting, analyzing and processing data on land degradation, drought, desertification, Sadulla Zainobudinov, and the head of the department of the Uzdaverloikha Institute, Abdusattorkhodzha Mirzaev.

The Korean guests were told about the state and prospects for using modern technologies in the agriculture of Uzbekistan to generate geoinformation, study and analyze the condition of lands and care for crops.

At the event, the possibilities of using innovative solutions in agriculture of Uzbekistan were discussed, allowing highly efficient and multifunctional drones to be carried out with high precision,

artificial intelligence technologies, comprehensive monitoring of sowing operations, fertilization and control of plant diseases, developed by South Korean specialists.
