The Minister of Digitalization took part in the China-Uzbekistan Business Forum in Xi’an

On the eve of the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the PRC, an Uzbek-Chinese business forum was held in the city of Xi’an, People’s Republic of China.

This forum was attended by the heads of more than 400 large Chinese companies interested in establishing cooperation with Uzbekistan, as well as long-term partners of our country.

During the forum in Xi’an, Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov made a presentation.

As part of the Chinese-Uzbek business forum, a number of agreements were signed between the Ministry of Digital Technologies and the companies Huawei and ZTE. The agreements are aimed at strengthening ICT infrastructure and promoting the digital transformation of educational institutions.

Let us recall that last month a delegation of representatives of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, IT Park and local telecom operators, led by Minister Sherzod Shermatov, visited the headquarters of Huawei and ZTE in Shenzhen, China.

In it, the company presented innovations and trends in the field of digital solutions for various sectors of the economy based on ICT technologies, including 5G and 5.5G technologies, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and energy efficient technologies.
