The 44th meeting of the Council of Electrical and Information Communication Operators of the Regional Commonwealth of Communications was held in Tashkent

In the new building of UZTELECOM in Tashkent, the 44th meeting of the Council of Electrical and Information Communication Operators of the Regional Commonwealth of Communications (ASMH) was held.

At the meeting, the Chairman of the Council of Electrical and Information Communication Operators of the Regional Commonwealth of Communications, Yuriy Petruchenya, spoke at the meeting and said that the digitization process is being carried out at a high speed in Uzbekistan, but the digital divide in the countries of the region remains significant at the national and regional level. emphasized.

Also, the visiting representatives from the participating countries, in particular, the construction of existing transit communication networks and prospective networks, the measures taken to fight fraud in communication networks in the countries of ASMH participants, under the Council of Telecommunications and Information Communication Operators of ASMH the proposals of the working group on satellite technologies were heard and discussed among the participants, proposals on topics were approved.

During the meeting, ASMH participants paid special attention to the issues of the priority areas of operators’ activities in the implementation of digital economy programs in their countries. For this purpose, within the framework of the meeting, issues related to the activity of ASMH and international issues regarding the preparation of the participants for the major forums of the International Telecommunication Union were also considered.

Also, today, every event of the Council of Electrical and Information Communications Operators of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of communication involves the creation of a common strategy for the field of communication, exchange of ideas, discussion of existing problems, and new strategies, new methods of cooperation between our countries. It was noted that it will be the best field for development.
