The center’s employees are studying the agricultural and food statistics system of the Kingdom of Spain

On January 24-28 this year, the delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in the implementation of digital technologies and foreign experience in the fields of agricultural and food statistics under the ASK (Agriculture Support and Knowledge) project of the European Union. he visited a number of ministries and organizations of the Kingdom of Spain for the purpose of learning.

As part of the visit, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of the Kingdom, the National Institute of Statistics, the Institute of Environmental Protection, the Institute of Agricultural and Economic Research and Development of Murcia, the Department of Agriculture of Catalonia, as well as a number of leading experts meetings were held with management and specialists of organizations and enterprises.

In addition, the information systems and opportunities created by the representatives of the ministry to monitor the full cycle of the development of agricultural products, to form transparent statistical data and to deliver them to all agencies and producers of agricultural products was studied.

Also, creating an open database with the participation of experts, maintaining and using information about land plots in geoinformation systems, encouraging the use of digital systems, methods of conducting surveys, coordinating the work of the parties in the implementation of long-term projects and prioritizing a lecture, demonstration and practical training were held on the issues of determining directions.
