Foreign experience in field statistics management was discussed
The fifth meeting of the inter-agency working group to support the digitization of agriculture and food statistics was held.
At the meeting, issues of expanding the integration of information systems of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Agency of Statistics, establishing the exchange of new types of information, the use of statistical data in the creation of the electronic platform “Assessment of the situation in the field of agriculture and food” and this the status of the work carried out in this regard was reviewed and future tasks were determined.
Also, with the support of the ASK Facility project of the European Union, within the framework of the visit to the Republic of Poland, a group consisting of the officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Statistical Agency learned about the experience of agricultural registration, the maintenance of the balance of agricultural and food products, presentation and information about the integrated agricultural market information system (IAMIS – Integrated Agricultural Market Information System) was discussed.
The event of registration in the field of agriculture, which is planned to be held in the republic in 2024, is an important and large-scale event in the field. The experience of the Republic of Poland in this area of study was positively evaluated by the working group, including the development of questionnaires in the Polish state, the specific aspects of using the services of outsourcing companies, the creation of information in information systems, and the issues of simplifying registration processes. The advantages of the IAMIS information system, which is widely used in the Republic of Poland, and its importance in analyzing price changes at the stages of formation of market prices of agricultural products, reducing excess costs and forecasting were considered. It was noted that the introduction of this system in the republic has a positive effect, and that there is a need to develop the relevant legal framework.
The interdepartmental working group gave relevant tasks to the officials regarding the considered issues.
