A seminar was held between the delegation of Armenia and the Ministry of Agriculture and the staff of the “Digitalization Center”

At the seminar, the developed projects and ongoing work at the “Digitalization Center” under the Ministry of Agriculture were introduced.

1) The principles and functional tasks of the “Crop Agro” information system were presented.

2) Agrosubsidy The principles of using the information system and receiving subsidies were explained about the role and indicators of digitalization in them.

3) The functional capabilities of the land lease information system and the mechanisms of land lease and how to analyze and control them were highlighted.

4) Creating a register of farmers using the Agroplatform information system, providing them with preferential loans in the field of cotton and grain based on digital technologies, creating loan applications, signing certificates created after planting crops, downloading the mayor’s decisions in the system and futures were clarified on the possibilities of electronic execution of contracts, step-by-step implementation and monitoring of agrotechnical activities.

In order to study the full capabilities of these systems, the staff of the Armenian delegation showed great interest and offered to exchange experience on the use of these systems based on the agreement.
